New Zealand Author

Spores Don’t Even Breathe is Douglas’ first novel, about which he says: “I set out to write a story that would entertain and I am very pleased with the result. It was a fascinating process to watch the story slowly reveal its own particular view of the world. A view which, of course, turned out to be my own.”

Douglas Parker was born in Wellington, New Zealand. He graduated from Wellington’s Victoria University with a Masters Degree in Physics. Since then he has been a professional software developer and for a few years was also co-director of an IT company. Beyond work Douglas enjoys international travel, cycle touring and mountain biking and hiking.
